Directions For Use

Liquid Spray Fertilizers (Ready-to-Use)

For Foliar Application (Leaf Feeding)

Our ready-to-use liquid spray fertilizers are specially formulated for direct leaf application, delivering fast, efficient nutrition right where your plants absorb it best.

Fertilizer Blends

  • Variegation Enhancer™ (blue letters)
Keeps variegated foliage bright and colorful for longer while gently encouraging new variegation to appear.

  • Bloom Formula™ (pink letters)
Supports healthy flowering by delivering essential nutrients that stimulate stronger, more vibrant blooms.

  • Grow Formula™ (green letters)
Promotes lush, leafy green growth by encouraging new shoots, leaves, and fuller foliage development.

Pro Tip: Clean Before You Feed

For best results, gently clean your plant’s leaves with distilled water before applying fertilizer. A heavy misting or rinse helps remove dust, dirt, and any residue that could block nutrient absorption. This simple step improves fertilizer effectiveness and helps your plants absorb every drop of nourishment.

Note: Spray fertilizers may leave minor water spots, another reason to treat your plants to a regular “bath” to keep leaves clean and vibrant.

How to Use

  1. Shake the bottle gently before use.
  2. Adjust the nozzle to your preferred spray setting.
  3. Aim the nozzle toward your plant’s leaves.
  4. Mist until leaves begin to drip.
  5. Repeat as needed as part of your regular care routine.

⚠️ Important Note

Do not dilute the Ready-to-Use Spray or mix these products with anything else.
Each formula is professionally mixed and pH-balanced for optimal performance and plant health. Use as directed for best results.

Liquid Concentrate Fertilizer

Foliar Application (Leaf Feeding)

⚠️WARNING: Do not apply liquid concentrate directly to plants, doing so will cause irreversible damage. This product must be diluted in distilled water before use.

Liquid Concentrate Fertilizer Blends

  • Bloom Formula™ (pink letters)
Supports healthy flowering by delivering essential nutrients that stimulate stronger, more vibrant blooms.

  • Grow Formula™ (green letters)
Promotes lush, leafy green growth by encouraging new shoots, leaves, and fuller foliage development.

Pro Tip: Clean Before You Feed

  • Ensure your plants are properly hydrated, this is key to your plants nutrient absorption and balance. Always water your plant before fertilizing.
  • For even better results, gently clean your plant’s leaves with distilled water before applying foliar fertilizer. A heavy misting/rinse helps remove dust, dirt, and any residue that could block nutrient absorption. This simple step improves fertilizer effectiveness and helps your plants absorb every drop of nourishment.

Note: Spray fertilizers may leave minor water spots, another reason to treat your plants to a regular “bath” to keep leaves clean and vibrant.

In our dilution rate test example, we added 5 mL in 32 fl oz of reverse osmosis water recorded this solution measuring approximately:

  • pH range should be 6.2 - 6.5
  • Solution temperature 65°F
  • ~410 Parts-per-million (PPM) on a 500 scale.
  •  0.8 Electrical Conductivity (E.C.)

At this dilution rate, one 4 oz bottle makes approximately 5.9 gallons of finished foliar spray.

⚠️ If you have instruments that measure these values and you got something that isn't in this range by +/- 15%, try recalibrate your instruments, recheck solution, if values are skewed after following the directions please contact us at info@exoticplantfood.com.

How to Use

  1. Shake the bottle vigorously before use.
  2. Remove the cap.
  3. Measure out and dispense - 5 mL of concentrate per 32 fl oz of distilled water or 20 mL per gallon of distilled water.
  4. Recap the bottle.
  5. Pour some of the diluted solution into a clean spray bottle.
  6. Point at the plants leaves.
  7. Mist until leaves begin to drip.
  8. Repeat as needed as part of your regular care routine.

⚠️ Important Note

Must dilute liquid concentrate before use.

Each formula is professionally mixed and pH-balanced for optimal performance and plant health. Use as directed for best results.

Liquid Concentrate Fertilizers

Soil Application (Root Zone Feeding)

In our dilution rate test example, we added the maximum mixing rate of 10 mL of concentrate in 32 fl oz solution of reverse osmosis water. The solution was measured and recorded:

  • pH: 5.3
  • Solution temperature 65°F
  • ~600 Parts-per-million (PPM) on a 500 scale.
  • 1.2 Electrical Conductivity (E.C.)

Caution: It is strongly recommended that while using this liquid concentrate as a root zone fertilizer that you do not exceed 40 ml of liquid concentrate per gallon of distilled water when mixing or damage could occur.

At this dilution rate, one 4 oz bottle makes approximately 3 gallons of finished substrate fertilizer.

  3. Measure out and dispense 20 - 40 mL of concentrate per gallon of distilled water.
  4. Recap the bottle.
  5. Pour some of the pre-measured and diluted fertilizer into a container and then gently pour into the soil, until some of the water begins to run out the bottom of the pot.
  6. Repeat as needed as part of your regular care routine.
